old navy blogger night

eeepppp, this was just too much excitement...so i had to share(:

so yesterday, i was so blessed with the opportunity to be a part of the blogger team at old navy's blogger night in the northridge mall. it was such a great night chatting with old and new blogger friends (along with my sidekick tori) and just helping customers with some great style tips for summer and fall, or simply what ever they needed. and the even cooler thing is that we all got to style our own mannequins (seen above) and they are going to be in the window on display for about a week or so, eeppp i think that's just so rad! 

anyways, i had a blast and loved my orange county chill outfit i got to style my mannequin who i named Kaite....how appropriate right (; enjoy the photos

hey loves, hope all is well because everything is just peachy with me because.....i officially only have 1 more day of school until summer. thank goodness gracious because this semester has not only driven me to insanity but its made me appreciate my 30 mins of yoga a day so much more. *sigh*

anyways on a much more stylish note, if you read my last post i mentioned that cee of cocoandvera was going to be featuring me on her blog. so check it out here if you haven't already!

this look is the one you'll see on cee's post because well i just love how casual and colorful it is. i mean if anyone took a walk in my closet, they would probably get lost is a sea of olive greens and shades of creams. (such a typical redhead, right?) so i guess what i'm trying to say is it felt good to do something different! well, i will chat some more soon, gotta get back to studying for my last finals!!!!!!

hello lovelies, i hope your day is going well and i hope the weather is as pleasant as it is here in orange county. it's like a summer tease, too bad it's supposed to rain later in the week...but anyways i wore this outfit to school last week (when it was hot, obvi hehe) so sorry that the background and poses are kinda....boring. 

but on another note...this utility jacket has literally become my go to piece for the last couple of months, it goes with everything and it's not to warm so it's still great for the spring time! also, i have totally been loving wearing shorts with boots...it makes for such a fallish/summerish outfit (that definitely didn't make sense to you im sure.) haha 

oh and one last random blurb...i'm back on Pose and i actually really love it, it's definitely so different from when it just started. so follow me if you wanna see more of my looks!

insta outfit update

woohoo time for a instagram outfit update. clothes clothes clothes, i just can't ever get enough clothes. i think planning out what i'm going to wear 'tomorrow' is the favorite part of my day. do you ladies pick out your look the night before? haha being in school...i try to get as much sleep as i can and knowing me, choosing my outfit could take anywhere from 5 mins to 3 hours. (and no i'm not joking) 

on a totally different note...who is loving the plethora of early christmas music? I AM! christmas music never fails to put me in a happy mood, so sitting in traffic should be a lot more relaxing now that christmas music can accompany me on my drive. (jumping for joy) 

ps. my turtles are snoring right now...and to be honest i didn't know turtles snored.

People Water

ever since this semester, i have been doing a lot of fun research on companies who utilize the one for one moto or who are simply just charitable. and to my surprise, my mom brought me back these awesome People Water goodies from the California Grocers Associate conference. 

and as some of you may know Jef, one of the founders, was the winner of the most recent Bachelorette, i was on his team all along (;! 

the company's story is so incredible and i just couldn't help but share a little bit about them(:

People Water started Drop for Drop which provides clean water to those who don't have access to it. this is a company that makes being charitable easy, i mean all you have to do is take a sip. their water bottles are also the most biodegradable ones on this earth, AWESOME. 

it's pretty darn simple, "for every bottle purchased People Water will give an equal amount of clean water to a person in need."

so start drinking and make sure to share this with your friends and family...we all need CLEAN water to survive.

iPhone Essential: Brit+Co

some of you who follow me via twitter and facebook may know that my latest iphone obsession is Brit+Co...like major OBSESSION. it's like pinterest but way easier to use and so much more fun. starter Brit Morin seriously knows how to keep people excited, i mean almost every day she posts at least 3 new ideas, recipes, funnies, styles or DIYs. 

i love it because the things she posts are just so simple yet so cool and amazing. it's like, "omg why didn't i think of that?" she has an iphone and ipad app and a website too. i love it especially because my man phillip is always reading the news on his iphone so i find myself just bored...but thanks to Brit+Co i am now thoroughly mesmerized.
