well, these are 9 of my favorite instagram loves. so grab your phone and show them some love. ....you'll probably get whisked away by their beautiful photos.

a peek into my little photo editing world...

in my eyes, editing a photo for instagram (@misskaitblog) is fun...sometimes it's funny how much time i spend editing a photo before i post it anywhere. and does it REALLY matter? no not really. but if you care and love it as much as i do, hopefully you will find this post delightful! 

the majority of my editing is done on the 3 apps you see above: VSCOcam is great for adding unique filters to your photos. and there are around 30+ filters to choose from...crazy, right? -- A BeautifulMess is great for adding text and like out of this world cute doodles and phrases. it also has some pretty cool borders like dots, flowers and hearts -- PicLab is my favorite app for really rad borders & it's great from adding text as well. 

i could go on and on about each app individually but then you'd be reading a journal...hehe so tweet me  @misskaitblog if there's something else you're dying to know about iPhone editing(: and i posted some of my favorite photos i edited myself!

iPhone Essential: Brit+Co

some of you who follow me via twitter and facebook may know that my latest iphone obsession is Brit+Co...like major OBSESSION. it's like pinterest but way easier to use and so much more fun. starter Brit Morin seriously knows how to keep people excited, i mean almost every day she posts at least 3 new ideas, recipes, funnies, styles or DIYs. 

i love it because the things she posts are just so simple yet so cool and amazing. it's like, "omg why didn't i think of that?" she has an iphone and ipad app and a website too. i love it especially because my man phillip is always reading the news on his iphone so i find myself just bored...but thanks to Brit+Co i am now thoroughly mesmerized. 

so go...download it now...you will thank me later(;

my life has been far from easy these last few weeks. my mind is running laps and i'm so emotionally drained that honestly the last thing i've thought about is blogging. my beautiful grandma passed about two weeks ago and it was probably the hardest thing i've had to go through. loosing someone you love is never easy...and it's been nothing but hard on my family. 

but in other news, i thought i would share some instagram outfits! i wore some of these to school and some on the weekend when i'm just running errands with my family or phillip. i hope you still enjoy reading and seeing my looks! i think given my limited time schedule, i might be doing this more often. and plus you can see what i really wear out and about. oh, and how would you guys feel if i highlighted some of my favorite iphone apps every once and awhile? Instagram Obsessed

I LOVE INSTAGRAM!! It seriously is the best iPhone app in the world, I could use it all day long.  Being the photography lover that I am anything that includes taking pictures and then editing them to perfection...well I'm in.  I would 100% recommend that you all download it, that is if you don't already have it.  It seriously is the best, and the fact that you can comment, like, retweet, tweet, or post to tumblr and Facebook...that just makes this photo fenzy app even more awesome.
