fall favorites

in spirit of the first day of fall (the best season ever), i thought i would share my fall favorites with all of you! what are your favorite fall necessities or your favorite fall traditions! ps. you can assume that chunky seasons is just a must for fall no matter what...hope you enjoy!

 boots in general are just a must for fall. my born boots are my favorites because they are insanely comfortable...especially if you are wearing them all day.

 one of my favorite fall traditions is our family trip to solvang for shopping and A LOT of wine tasting. this trip is also special because it's done in our family RV...just to paint a picture - 3 divas (mom, my sis and i) + 2 doggies + and mr. fix it (dad) and lots of wine in one motor home

 my favorite fall candle of all time - cider lane (bath and body works)

cooking with my mom is something that always reminds my of fall or really the beginning of the chilly seasons. and this is a treat that we make frequently in the fall - pumpkin bread mix (trader joes)

i have to start off by sharing this quote that i fell absolutely in love with!

so amazing right? with the way my week started(which wasn't too great) i just needed to keep reminding myself that there is good in everything...and after i took my deep breathe and relaxed my week suddenly turned out to be amazing. ahhh, life just feels so 'right' now<3 

i think it's just so easy to get lost in our daily routines that we all forget to smile and say hi to all the people walking past us!

so anyways...its been in the 80s here in california, and well i thought i was a winter baby but i think i might of changed my mind! i'm loving that i can wear my high waisted shorts & tees (without the tights and extra layers)...sigh of relief(:

i know that when the summer comes i will probably be begging for the cold to come back, but as for now i'm as happy as a bee. yess smiling ear to ear!  i can't wait for the weekend, my daddy and i are going to a car show and then sunday i'm going to a bat mitzvah for my guys little cousin and lastly my sister is having a 'goodluck/goodbye showcase' for their high school dance team that leaves for florida next week to compete at the UDA Nationals! 

so keep your fingers crossed for them, i know they will do amazing<3

Weekend Wonders

Hello lovely bloggers!

I just need to say that I'm so over these weather teases, aren't you? The weather god must think it's funny to watch everyone get excited for Fall. Speaking of the best season of the year, it needs to hurry itself up haha. After the H&M haul my mom and I did this weekend, all I have to say is bring on the cold (;

Anyways...I've been so busy that taking time to photograph my outfits was just out of the question, so I thought I would share with you some photos from this weekend.

I finally got to go home and spend time with my family and friends, which was totally much needed. On Friday night I got to go to a high school football game where my sister cheered her little heart out...I'm so proud of that girl! (I wore my scarf turban, lace top, black jeans and sandals). 

I've also been experimenting with my eye make-up, using cool shades of eyeshadow as thick eyeliner! It's a change I think I might get used too, love what it does to my eyes!
