A Fashionable Hole In The Wall

Don't you just love when you randomly come across a store that ends up being your little wonderland?

On our trip to Vancouver, Canada I happened to stumble upon this amazing little thrift shop. It was a little sketchy at first as we walked down this incredibly steep staircase. However to my surprise those steps led me to the coolest thrift shop in Canada.
From 50s dresses to denim jackets that cowboys could have worn, I felt like a little kid in a candy store(but it was much better then candy...CLOTHES) There was so much to look at, I could have spent countless hours digging and digging for fashionable treasures.

Yes yes you might be thinking well did you buy something?
Of course I did, I couldn't leave without a souvenir...so I got these awesome retro vintage bowling shoes. It is kind of random yes, but I have been bowling regularly with Phill and his friends. So I thought it couldn't be better, I needed them anyways. And now I know I will be the most stylish girl at the alley with my personalized bowling ball and 20 year old vintage bowling shoes!
Heres some pics:

So I just want to say that always keep your eyes open because you never know what you are gonna find! But make sure if your interested to head to Vancouver fast, because they are moving locations.

Have you ever stumbled upon an awesome place, if so where and what was it????

Hope you enjoyed the pictures(:

Farmer Market Fresh

As I said in my previous post, I have so many awesome things to blog about and one of my favorites things from my trip was going to Farmers Markets.
First, was the market on Grandville Island in Vancouver, Canada. It ended up being one of the most beautiful stops on our trip. We took a ferry over to the island and the second we stepped on the dock we were hit with scents of fresh flowers and amazing produce. The island was like a crafters paradise with all these little unique artsy shops selling everything from handmade brooms to silk scarves. But of course my favorite was the market. It was full of the most fresh, colorful and gorgeous foods, accessories and flowers.

The broom store, we think Harry Potter got his brooms here
Second, was the famous market in Seattle, Washington. The market wasn't as big of a surprise because it's so well known among tourists, but that didn't take away from the awesomeness. Known for their fish, Pike's Market was bustling with people from all over the world. We were lucky enough to have family in Seattle, so we decided to make a fresh and delicious meal all with fresh ingredients from the market!
