i hope i haven't become a stranger, this whole blogging + working + going to school thing is really posing to be lots harder than i thought...but i DON'T give up hehe(; especially cuz blogging is relaxing to me...i enjoy every minute of it! OHH, and i have so much to tell you all...so sorry about the heavy read.

 so anyways...i must inform you all why i have been M.I.A! blame it on my Fashion Journalism class (not really because i love it) anywhoo we had to make a magazine incorporating all of the stuff we picked up from attending LAFW's Concept event at the Ace Gallery....it was a ton of work but i presented today so the stress is through, i can sleep again!!!

the coolest part was my professor brought in 4 wonderful industry professionals. Emily and Teresa from theSTYLEmap were my favorites...shhh (: all their great insight definitely out ruled the nerves and stress of putting the project together! and with all that hard work....i mean i had to share it with you kiddies, it's embedded in the bottom of the post...hope you all enjoy it!

PS. it's the weekend and time to relax! oh and i must mention i am going to apple country this weekend with mr. phillip....i'm oh so excited hehehe (: kisses kisses kisses

Well anyways, I have done a little blogger round-up of three of the sweetest bloggers ever...I kind of made it my own little project and I actually got to interview them all, woot lucky me(;

Here's what Steffy told me in a brief and fun interview:

My name is Steffy.. short for Stefanie but that feels much too formal. 

Steffys Pros and Cons became a personal fashion blog in February of 2011. I started it because I had been reading other blogs such as Second Skin, Eat Sleep Wear and Keiko Lynn and i thought it looked fun!

Steffy's number one shopping destination:

ALWAYS this amazing thrift store in the heart of Brooklyn called urban jungle. i always go a little nuts when i walk inside!

Steffy says one word to describe her style is...

quirky. i am a little offbeat, and i like it to show in how i dress!

How Steffy spends her free time:

i spend time with my perf guy, matty & i am also a runner so if youre in miami you might see me run by!

Her favorite or most used word:

hehe. right now, pumpkin. "PUMPKIN SPICE. PUMPKIN BREAD. LETS CARVE PUMPKINS. OH HEYYYY PUMPKIN!" :)

Interesting fact about her:

i sleep with a stuffed animal lobster named FDR (franklin delano romanowsky after the seinfeld episode). also, i reaaaaallly want a weiner dog named heinz. 

Why should you follow Steffys Pros and Cons:

i think my blog shines for the *photography* because i use a great camera and my boyfriend and i are both trained photographers. also, i think the fact that almost all of my clothing is for sale is a unique aspect, because on most blogs you think "omg omg i want that!" and you either cant find it in the store/ you click the link and the item is $400+ dollars. if someone really loves what i have on it can be theres, and it wont cost most more than $30.

About NO SWEATS ALLOWED:
I started my blog this past spring 2011 in April. I guess the name came from the fact that, unlike the typical college student, I never wore sweats, especially not to class.
Emily's biggest inspirations are:
I love Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere for her soft, feminine style and capturing blogging techniques. I also highly look up to Emma Watson for her poise, stlye, and class, and also for all that she does in the Fair Trade clothing field.
Where does Emily shop:
Honestly, it used to be thrift stores, but since I've entering into the working world I would have to say H&M.
Emily likes to:
I'm all for trying new things. Some things you can find me doing on a regular basis would be trying out new restuarants, DIY art projects, snapping photos, yoga, riding my bike, and of course, shopping.
Interesting Fact:
I'm afraid of balloons. Favorite word is tiki.

You would think I went to fashion school....BUT...I actually graduated UCI with a degree in Dance and Minor in Education. I put the two of those together on a weekly basis when I teach the little tots how to dance!
On her free time:
I love to blog. Seriously, it ends up taking up most of my free time. But all that matters is I love doing it (especially when I have a cup of coffee to join me!)
Amanda's guilty shopping pleasure:
I love Nordstrom...from their great service to their amazing fashions. I love to go in and just look around haha even though some of their stuff is so expensive, they still have things for everyone.
Cool thing about Amanda's blog:
I love everything, so I find it hard to pick one category for my blog to fall under. There are days when all I want to talk about is food but then there's days when all I want to blog about is what I was wearing! So basically, I promise you will always be in for a surprise!
